About KI-India Collaboration
KI has agreements on different levels with different institutes in India, but the majority of the activities with Indian collaborators takes place between researchers and are not centrally regulated. There are a few exceptions, where collaborative agreements, projects and activities are initiated and supported centrally.

Dr. Carani B Sanjeevi MD, PhD, Faculty in Karolinska Institute, Dept. of Medicine and Senior Scientist in Centre for Molecular Medicine (CMM) has been awarded the prestigious ‘Pravasi Bharathiya Samman Award’ for the year 2016, by the Government of India.
