Workshop: Reading Complex Academic Texts
As a Master's student, you are expected to read and comprehend complex academic texts. During this workshop, you will learn techniques and strategies for doing so. In addition, we will practice reading strategically, that is, reading to improve critical thinking, to build vocabulary, and to improve academic writing skills.
Students who attend this workshop will also have the opportunity to sign up for our small academic reading groups, which will be offered twice to groups of 3-6 students in October. During these reading groups, students will receive more individualized instruction and assistance with their reading, and with how to use their reading to improve their writing.
The workshop is free, but you need to register. Read more and register
