Accommodation areas
All KI Housing rooms and apartments are fully furnished. Basic cooking and household utensils are provided. The beds in all rooms and apartments have mattress, mattress cover (not included at Strix and Pax), quilt and pillow but you need to bring your own bed linen and towels. The rent includes water, heating and electricity. The standard voltage in Sweden is 230 Volt AC (EU-standard).

KI Housing rents 4 small townhouses for families at Berzelius väg 2, located on KI Campus in Solna. The townhouses/family apartments are 65 square meters, fully furnished and have two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is access to a common laundry room.
KI Residence Flemingsberg

KI Housing offers 84 apartments of different sizes at Alfred Nobels Allé, located on KI Campus in Flemingsberg. There are 30 studio apartments, 4 shared three-bedroom apartments, 35 shared two-bedroom apartments and 15 family apartments.

KI Housing offers 316 apartments of different sizes in our brand new accommodation center “KI Residence Solna”, located directly on the KI Campus in Solna. KI Residence Solna consists of three buildings with 140 studio apartments, 120 studios with shared kitchen, 38 shared 2-bedroom apartments and 18 shared 4-bedroom apartments.

Who can apply?
All incoming international students and guest researchers who will be studying/working at Karolinska Institutet are eligible to apply for accommodation through KI Housing.
