Seminarium för forskarhandledare: Sustainable development goals - why intercultural communication to promote health is essential
The aim of this lunch seminar is to sensitize how intercultural communication can be included in global health education and research when the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 will be in focus.
According to international studies and reviews, immigrants’ health, especially refugees’ is worse compared to general populations. In the present varying contexts of growing crisis around the world, an increasing potential number of refugees need treatment and practitioners with gender and intercultural competence. The SDGs 2030 cover social and economic development issues including promotion of health.
