StratCan Senior Researcher 2017
Based on external review two 5-year StratCan Senior Researcher positions within Cancer Research are awarded to:
Nicola Crosetto is active at SciLifeLab and the Department of Medical Chemistry and Biophysics (MBB) and his research proposal has the title “Illuminating cancer genomic fragility by integrated omics”.
Marianne Farnebo is active at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition (BioNut) and the Department of Oncology-Pathology (Onk-Pat) and her research proposal has the title “RNA-guided repair of DNA double-strand breaks and its potential relationship to cancer”.
StratCan announced funding for Senior Researcher positions within Cancer Research including basic and translational/clinical cancer research during Spring 2017 (Deadline for applications June 26th). A total of 24 applications fullfilling the set critria were received by deadline and top-10 were subject to external review by three international experts in the field.
StratCan Senior Research Fellow 2014
StratCan announced funding for for two Senior Research Fellow positions within Cancer Research including basic and translational/clinical cancer research, for the first time in Spring 2014. A total of 31 applications were received and based on external evaluation of the top 11 applications, the positions were awarded to Johan Holmberg and Ola Larsson.
Johan Holmberg is active at the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) and his research proposal has the title “The role of the chromatin remodeler CHD5 for tumor suppression in the nervous system”.
Ola Larsson is active at the Department of Oncology-Pathology (Onk-Pat) and his research proposal has the title “Exploring links between mRNA-metabolism and -translation in breast cancer”.
