GAP conference background

Global Academic Programs (GAP) at MD Anderson Cancer Center consists of a network of Sister Institutions (SIs) that are leading cancer-fighting institutions from around the world working collaboratively with the joint goal to end cancer.

The annual GAP Conference provides a forum for faculty from MD Anderson and its Sister Institutions to develop collaborations and exchange research results and ideas. Sessions are formed around topics of interest to the members of the Sister Institution Network. The event is held at MD Anderson in odd years and is hosted by a Sister Institution in even years.

Karolinska institutet has been a member of the GAP network since May 2013.
