Web course instructions
System and software requirements
Ping Pong is platform-independent and can thus be used with all operating systems but it requires a modern web browser. As soon as you log in to the system a control of your computers system will be done. If your computer does not meet the requirements you will receive information about this.
This is how it is done
Note that there are also more detailed instructions in the web course itself once you have logged in.
There are seven sections of the web course. Section one and two of the course provide information that can be a good idea to review before the first test question appears in section three.
All questions are so-called multiple-choice; more than one answer (and sometimes none) can be correct. The correct answer requires that all of the correct answers are marked.
As soon as you have completed a section of test questions and clicked "Submit test" then that part of the course is completed.
In the column at the top of the test, you can see whether or not you have answered the test questions correctly. If you have not passed the test click on the button "New try".
The test questions are obtained randomly from a question bank which means that new questions may appear for each new try. You can take the tests an unlimited number of times.
You can discontinue the course at any time; the questions which you have begun to answer (but have yet to submit) will remain marked until the next time you enter the course.
Certificate - of successful completion of the course!
When you have completed the very last question, a "certificate" will appear in the menu to the left, indicating that you have completed the entire course.
Click on Certificate. The "Print" symbol is in the right-hand corner.
Print out and save the certificate - this is your proof that you have completed the web course for doctoral supervisors at KI.
