Vice-dean of infrastructure appointed
Stefan Eriksson, senior lecturer and resigning head of department at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, has been appointed Vice-Dean of Infrastructure, focusing on research infrastructure. He received this assignment in competition with nine other applicants.
The decision was made by the acting Vice-Chancellor Karin Dahlman-Wright earlier this week. Stefan Eriksson’s assignment period is 2017-2019, and the position as vice-dean is equivalent to 40 percent of a full time employment.
The aim is that the vice-dean of infrastructure should be co-opted to the Board of Research (FS), and also function as chairperson of a new infrastructure committee, which is to be established at KI. An important task for the new vice-dean and his committee will be to draw up a proposal for strategy for future investments in research infrastructure.
