What is the course about?
This course is a general introduction to pedagogy in higher education, and will enable participants to discuss teaching and learning theory related to own practice and experiences.
How does the course unfold?
The course is equivalent to five weeks of academic studies laid out over a semester, mainly conducted via the learning platform Canvas through individual written assignments and literature reviews, as well as group discussions and peer feedback in small groups. The course will be conducted in both Swedish and English, which means that the course information, study tasks, and literature will be available in both languages.
When and where does the course take place?
The course opens on 20 August with introductory work in Canvas. A campus day will be organized on 31 August at the KI Solna campus. Please note that attendance on this start-up campus day is important! A campus day will also be organized on 2 October. The campus days will be held in English. The course ends on 7 December when the final version of examination assignment is to be uploaded in Canvas.
