Teaching and Learning development project

The aim of the course is to enhance reflective teaching and learning practice. During the course you will carry through a small developmental project within your own educational context.
Target group and entry requirements
The course is available for employees at the Karolinska Institutet and others (eg. county employees) who teach/supervise students at Karolinska Institutet. Due to the practically oriented nature of this course, it is important that participants are actively involved in teaching.
Course delivery and ways of working
The course is a continuation course on pedagogy in higher education equivalent to three weeks of full-time studies laid out over approximately 6 months. The format is blended; campus meetings, individual support from educational developers as well as group discussions and peer feedback in a learning platform. The participants will study in smaller groups both at campus and online.
The course constitutes qualifications in application for docentur at KI (read more about application for docentur here).
Common teaching and learning activities and material provided will be in English. Peer learning activities, coaching and individual studies including writing of the project report can be carried out in either Swedish or English.
