Health and medical care
Stockholm County Council is Karolinska Institutet's most important cooperation partner. Together we work to create optimal conditions for clinical research, education and healthcare in order to improve people's health.
When industry and academia collaborate, the chances of successful application increase. A continuous exchange of ideas, needs, competence and findings is also necessary in order to develop both research and education.
By supporting innovation, we can ensure that ideas and research findings are transformed into products which benefit patients and citizens.
Read all about KI's international collaboration and learn about our key partners, cooperation programmes and networks. You can also find tools for internationalisation and information on support and training.
Code of Conduct
The code of conduct is based on the fundamental core values of KI. The code clarifies responsibilities of co-workers and what is expected of each individual, mainly from a psychosocial work environment perspective.
Environment and sustainability work
An important part of Karolinska Institutet's sustainability work is to highlight and strengthen KIs research and education that contribute to knowledge about how society affects human health, now, in the future, locally and globally.
KI strives to be an attractive study and working environment which is free from discrimination and provides equal opportunities for all.
Each year a number of ceremonies are organised by Karolinska Institutet. Activities include the welcoming of new students, conferring of doctor's degrees, professorial awards and academic prizes.
Buy and sell lab equipment
Now that the move to ANA8, Biomedicum, Bioclinicum and NEO is underway, there’s redundant KI-owned equipment that needs selling. If you want to advertise or find lab materials, visit the page "Buy and Sell".
Many ways to give
With your support of the research and education at KI, you can be part of the future and contribute to new breakthroughs for life.
Unit for Medical History and Heritage
The Unit for Medical History and Heritage collects and preserves the cultural heritage of KI, and strives to spread and create new knowledge of KI history.
