KI Internal Process for the Research Training Partnership Programme, Sida
Upcoming Sida call for research partnership with University of Rwanda 2018-2023
The Research Training Partnership Programme as an integral part of research capacity strengthening is an open call from Sida for collaborations between University of Rwanda and Swedish universities and institutions.
The call is based on a concept note from the University of Rwanda for the period 2018-2023. One of the research clusters Health and Wellbeing for All includes the subthemes:
- Nutrition and environmental health
- One Health, Communicable and climate change
- Non-communicable diseases
- Maternal and childhood health
A collaborative partner at the University of Rwanda is necessary for participating.
The call consists of two phases: the Letter of Intent which includes project suggestion and preliminary budget, and after a review process by Sida, a possible invitation for the full-proposal. According to Sida the call will open in mid-September and will be open for two months. The Letters of Intent from KI will be submitted jointly. An internal preparation is required as the Letters of Intent will be submitted with a Letter of Endorsement by the Vice-Chancellor.
