Implementation of GDPR at KI
In order to ensure that KI complies with GDPR on 25 May 2018 a joint implementation project has been initiated.
Aim and objective
The aim of the project is to make an inventory of which personal data KI process, to evaluate the current situation concerning the processing of personal data compared with the requirements in GDPR, to identify and assess the risks on the basis of the current situation as well as to formulate and implement a plan of action to ensure the compliance of the GDPR on 25 May 2018.
The aim of the project is for KI to possess the expertise and the tools which will enable the organisation to comply with GDPR and to maintain adequate data protection for the personal data which is being processed.
The local GDPR implementation project at KI is organised as a management group, project manager as well as project groups containing experts in the respective areas. In the current situation analysis there are three pilots connected to the project.

The implementation project will be carried out in two phases:
- September - December: Current situation analysis
- January - May: Implementation
