Applying for funding for additional costs for KI courses abroad
It is now possible to, as a course organizer, apply for funding for travel and accommodation costs for the KI doctoral students that participate in a KI course held abroad in collaboration with a foreign university.
If a course is given in collaboration with a foreign university, funding can be applied for regarding travel and accommodation costs abroad for participating doctoral students (from KI). This has its origin in the fact that the doctoral programmes may not award travel grants or in another way finance travels for doctoral students. If funding for so called additional costs applied for are granted, each participating doctoral students does not need to apply for separate travel grants.
The course director applies for this funding separately from the Course and programme committee, while other funding of the course (including for teacher travel costs) normally comes from a doctoral programme.
Use the application form provided and send it with an enclosure regarding any co-funding, if applicable, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Last day for application is the same as for funding for doctoral courses, see Current deadlines for doctoral courses and activities.
