Adaptation

Denna sida på svenska

Adaptation is used to refer to situations where an employee has to change workplace under various circumstances, e.g. redundancy or illness. Adaptation involves adjusting to another job within or outside of KI.

Redundancy

In the event of redundancy due to a shortage of work, for example, a manager may need support in order to handle the situation that arises.

There are guidelines for handling shortage of work at KI and Omställningsavtalet (employment adaption agreement).

The employment adaption agreement is a collective agreement for the public sector, the purpose of which is to facilitate adaptation for the employer and personnel affected by redundancy.

Adaption means

In accordance with central agreements, KI annually allocates 0.3% of the salary sum for skills development and competence exchange measures. The long-term purpose of the measures will be active adaption work. The use of remedies requires a joint decision on a central level within the KI.
