The multi- and interdisciplinary subject global health includes areas that are transnational and global, often with a health system perspective in resource-constrained settings.
The subject includes research on both prevention and care aspects with the goal of universal heal coverage for equitable access to health among nations and for all people. A variety of research methods is used; different epidemiological methods, interventions, implementation research, health economic evaluations, research on and for policy, and qualitative methods combined with clinical and laboratory research.
