About me

  • My research profile extends from the public health perspective to individual diagnoses such as type-2 diabetes to vitamin-D deficiency. During last ten years I had interviewed 500 primary care patients and thus possesses profound knowledge of care processes and patient experiences of care. I am a member of several research networks: type-2 diabetes, pain, mental illness, migration and health, and aging. Since 4 years I am coordinating academisation of primary healthcare centers in Stockholm County Concil. As akademic coordinator I am working with research, dvelopmen and education in Hässelby/Akalla Academic Care Center with the including network consisting of 62 health care units. I have a deep knowledge in methodology and design in general and qualitative methodology in particular, research ethics, migration and health, epidemiology, type 2 diabetes, and public health.
