About me

I am a senior researcher at the BioNut department of KI in Huddinge. I got my Ph.D. in medical genetics in 2005 (from Umeå University, Sweden), and the title associate professor (docent) in human genetics in 2012 (from University of Helsinki, Finland).

Research description

I am interested in the genetics underlying a variety of human diseases, and I find most phenotypes hard to resist. My speciality is mapping disease genes in large families and my current projects include the genetic dissection of scoliosis, dyslexia and ear infections.
