Charlotta Dahlborg is a PhD candidate at the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship in the Department for Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME). She co-manages the Karolinska Institutet Intellectual Property (KIIP) database. Her research interests include commercialisation and diffusion of knowledge and technologies, academic entrepreneurship and technology transfer, the management of inter-organisational arrangements in the life science industry, and how organisations build alliance capabilities.
My research interests are innovation and entrepreneurship in a medical setting. It involves exploring knowledge transfer in university-industry interactions, organisational and attitudinal aspects of entrepreneurship and innovation in academia and alliance management.
Karolinska Institutet Intellectual Property (KIIP) project
The KIIP-project is a large mapping study of all inventions and inventors at KI between 1995 and 2010. It provides unique information of the patent productivity at Karolinska Institutet, transfer of patents, research collaboration. It also develops methods to evaluate academic research which provides insights to university benchmarking, innovation support development and resource allocation.
