About me
- I am an experienced Occupational Therapist, having earned my Master's degree from Karolinska Institutet in 2021 after graduating from Linköping University in 2004. Throughout my career, I have worked with rehabilitation, primarily with orthopaedics, trauma, and neurological disorders. I have always been passionate about enhancing my skills as a therapist and seeking new ways to bridge the gap between clinical work and research. That's why I have actively participated in several development projects led by my employer, Stockholms Sjukhem, such as care chain development, patient association presentations, and referrals.

2021 Magisterexamen Karolinska Institutet

Research
- I am a current doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet's Research School of Health Sciences, specialising in the Division of Occupational Therapy. As part of the Make My Day project, my research project is focused on evaluating the implementation and effect of a stroke prevention intervention for individuals at risk of stroke in primary care called Make My Day. The program's main objective is to prevent stroke by addressing modifiable risk factors, with a particular emphasis on engaging in everyday activities. Additionally, the project aims to develop effective implementation strategies by involving participants, clinicians, and management in a co-creation process..

Teaching
In my clinical work, I regularly supervised Swedish and international occupational students during their clinical placement. I found this type of didactic teaching very rewarding and stimulating.
As a doctoral student, I have several teaching assignments at the bachelor level. The teaching includes lectures, workshops and conducting and grading examinations.
