Presentation of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure BILS.

BILS (Bioinformatics Infrastructure for Life Sciences) is a distributed national research infrastructure with support from the Swedish Research Council. The aim of BILS is to provide bioinformatics support for life science researchers in Sweden. BILS will also match European efforts and will be the national contact point towards the new European infrastructure for biological information, ELIXIR, and related international collaborations.

BILS can provide bioinformatics expertise in several areas: Large scale sequencing (NGS), Metagenomics, Biostatistics, Phylogenomics, Metabolomics, Systems biology, Protein bioinformatics, and Mass-spectrometry proteomics. BILS also provides access to bioinformatics tools and data storage.

The presentation is free of charge but please register by sending an E-mail before 20 March to ki-presentation@bils.se in order to get a lunch sandwich.
