Job Search Check-in Group Meeting
If you are job searching, then you know it continues to be a tough job market and that staying motivated and proactive can be challenging. This group can help you stay focused, connected, and goal-oriented.
Joining this meeting enables you to get together with other KI researchers searching for both academic and nonacademic jobs to share tips and advice wherever you are in your search. Many organizations fill positions on a just in time basis, especially during the current economic landscape. This workshop will be run in a confidential and supportive setting so researches can share and learn from each other. To keep everyone on target and allow equal participation, this session will be facilitated by a season career professional.
Bio: Amy Sanford
Amy is a career consultant with many years of experience ranging from coaching researchers and postdocs at Harvard University, leading interactive workshops and presenting career topics, to human resources recruitment and USA visa immigration advising for non-USA citizens studying or working in the USA. Her research interest focuses on the Global War for Talent targeting STEM workers in the post Global Financial Crisis landscape.
Amy is Principal of Sanford Career Consulting offering career solutions globally to both organizations and individuals.
