KI-SciLifeLab Workshop on: Next generation sequencing of antibody repertoires
The aim of the workshop is to gather scientists interested in antibody (Ab) repertoire analysis. We have developed a platform using Illumina-based MiSeq sequencing and an automated bioinformatics pipeline that can be used for a wide range of pre-clinical and clinical applications where B cells play a role, such as in infection- and vaccine-induced immune responses, B cell malignancies and autoimmune disorders. The platform can be used to sequence natural Ab repertoires as well as phage-displayed combinatorial antibody libraries. The pipeline is broadly applicable to the analysis of Ab repertoires from any species for which databases of Ab genes are available, including mice, rhesus macaques and humans.
The workshop will cover:
- V gene databases
- Library preparation of V(D)J transcripts
-5’RACE vs multiplex PCR
-Applications of barcodes
- Illumina MiSeq sequencing
- Automated bioinformatic analysis
- Presentations and discussions
Please register to the workshop below to secure your place on November 5 at MTC.
