KI Infection Retreat

Aim and Target group
This programme aims to contribute to the training PhD students to provide specific professional knowledge in the research areas of infection biology and global health as well as generic cross-pollinating knowledge. The target group is national and international PhD students enrolled at Karolinska Institutet. (As well as students at other institutes within Sweden who with KI are part of the National Program in Infection and Global Health, or associated with the Doctoral National Programme in Infections and Antibiotics)
About the venue
Djurönäset is a 4-star hotel and conference centre located in the Stockholm archipelago with 274 rooms, conference facilities for two to 450 persons, full bar, Winothek, newly renovated restaurant and kitchen with well-renowned chefs, a large pool, a spa section, sandy beach, wood-heated sauna and summer restaurant down beside the dock. And of course all of the usual benefits that a conference venue in the archipelago can offer, from boule competitions to RIB boat races!

Register online to secure your place now. Registration is considered binding. If participants have not informed absence to the organisers prior to the 31st of July the participants will be charged 4000SEK. If absence is informed before the 31st of July we will be able to allocate the spot to another individual and the participant will not incur the charge of 4000SEK.
