About the speaker
Prof Yamamoto is a distinguished academic and medic and has been active in research on the molecular biology of oxidative stress. But nowadays he is also now known as the driving force behind the big new biobank built up in the wake of the tsunami & nuclear meltdown in Sendai. This includes starting two important population cohorts which will help build knowledge on longer-term health effects of the disaster.
