Madelen Lek - Director of Studies for a new national research school in Drug Discovery and Development (DDD)
Madelen Lek, PhD and project manager at the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship has been appointed as director of studies for a new national research school in Drug Discovery and Development (DDD). She will be responsible for the entrepreneurship and innovation part of the school as well as the company placements while Luke Odell, PhD at Uppsala University will be responsible for the DDD specific part. The research school is established within a project, with the overall aim to coordinate the education of a new generation of students and researchers in DDD and facilitate university-industry networks and collaborations. The research school is a joint initiative between KI and Uppsala University with contributions from other Swedish universities, strategic initiatives and organizations with relevant DDD expertise. The project is financed by Vinnova and lead by the KI Innovation Office.
