EIT Health Innovation Day 2017 for KI Students
On Friday, December 1 Innovation Day for students 2017 will take place at KI. Here our students, in their first- or second-semester, or from global masters programme, will participate in an interprofessional & interactive day on how innovation and entrepreneurship can improve health and health care. Through inspiring talks and design thinking inspired exercises our students will gain tools for carrying Health Innovation with them into their studies & future careers.
Innovation Day begins with inspirational talks, then the students will tackle and solve problems in interdisciplinary groups on challenges for the eldery. The results will be compiled and evaluated competitively in a pitching contest. The afternoon will be an interactive and interprofessional introduction to a design thinking process and tools. The day ends with an innovation pub.
KI’s Innovation Day is one of nine EIT Health sponsored Innovation Days happening in late November and early December 2017, within a collaborative network of universities: Uppsala University, and Copenhagen University in scandinavia, Imperial College London, Oxford University, and Newcastle University in the UK, The University of Évora in Portugal, University of Naples Federico II in Italy, and Semmelweis University along with University of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary.
