We teach a professional education course (uppdragsutbildning) called Health Assistance in Humanitarian Crisis for health care and medical staff who are preparing to do a field mission abroad with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Sweden.

About the course

The overall aim of the course is to provide competencies, strategies, and tools to enable the students to work as humanitarian health assistance staff. The focus is on a number of core areas such as: global health, epidemic outbreaks, moral and ethical dilemmas in humanitarian work and much more. The course merits 12 ECT credits and is taught through a mix of onsite and digital learning. To find out more about the course and what it contains, please view the course poster.

Please note that you are only able to attend the course if you have been offered a position with Médecins Sans Frontières (Läkare utan Gränser) Sweden or if your employer is in other ways behind your participation. It is not possible to apply to or take part in the course on your own.
