Writing an Introduction: A Workshop offered by the KI Academic Writing Support
KI Academic Writing Support offers a workshop on how to write an introduction. It is free of charge and is primarily aimed at students writing their master’s thesis or other degree projects.
It takes place on Friday, March 18, between 13.00 and 16.00.
What will I learn?
The workshop will focus on aspects such as the function and structure of the introduction, synthesizing sources, preparing your reader for your aim and creating a flow in the text. We will go through and analyze the introductions of a couple of published articles, and there will be an opportunity to work on your own texts, or discuss them with other students (if you wish).
How do I sign up?
You need to register for the workshop and the number of participants is limited, so don't wait too long. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register. Please mention your name and study program.Contact person: Anna Borgström
