Allocation of funding 2020
The Faculty Board has on November 19, 2020, decided on the allocation of the funding for eight positions as Assistant Professor, eight positions as Senior researcher (extension of existing assistant professorship) and eight Consolidator grants for researchers already employed by KI.
The awarded candidates for funding as Assistant Professor are (in alphabetical order):

- Bennie Lemmens
- Jette Lengefeld
- Kristoffer NT Månsson
- Onur Parlak
The list has been updated with names of candidates that were previously on the reserve list.
The above listed candidates, who were selected from 119 qualified applicants, will receive up to 1.0 million SEK per year over six years to be used for own salary. Additionally, 1.0 million SEK will be available for the awarded applicants as a startup contribution for research.
The awarded candidates for funding as Senior Researcher (extension of existing assistant professorship) are (in alphabetical order):

The above listed candidates, who were selected from 31 qualified applicants, will receive 1.0 million SEK per year over two years to be used for own salary.
The awarded candidates for the Consolidator grant are (in alphabetical order):

- Lars Jakobsson
- Pekka Katajisto
- Jenny Mjösberg
- Eduardo Villablanca
The above listed candidates, who were selected from 63 qualified applicants, will receive up to 1.2 million SEK per year over five years to be used for own salary. Up to 50 percent may be used for research related costs.
Should one of the awarded candidates turn down the funding, he or she will be replaced by the first name on the respective reserve list.
