Forskningsbeskrivning

Jag leder en forskargrupp med inriktning på CNS inflammation och stamcellsbiologi. Forskargruppen studerar hur inflammation påverkar stamcellerna och hur man kan förbättra läkningen hos MS-patienter via nervsystemets egna stamceller.

Jag har handlett fem doktorander till doktorsexamen och varit bihandledare för tre doktorander som har disputerat. Just nu är jag huvudhandledare till två doktorander, bihandledare till tre doktorander och huvudhandledare för tre postdocs. Jag har agerat som opponent 3 gånger och deltagit i betygsnämnd vid 22 disputationer.
