Om mig

Eva Nissen har en anställning som professor specialiserad på reproduktiv och perinatal hälsa. Eva har en dubbel registrering som sjuksköterska och barnmorska och har också lärarexamen . Hon är doktor i medicinsk vetenskap . Hon har lång erfarenhet från undervisning på barnmorskeprogram och magisterkurser i vårdvetenskap och reproduktiv hälsa. Hon har tidigare varit programdirektör för barnmorskeprogrammet vid Karolinska Institutet. Hon är f.n. chef  för enheten för reproduktiv hälsa, Institutionen för kvinnors och barns hälsa, Karolinska Institutet och är en core leader för Kvinnors och barns hälsa inom Strategiska forskningsområdet - vård. Eva Nissen förestår den nybildade forskargruppen "Parenting and Childbirth" och förestod tidigare forskargruppen "Parent-infant interaction and breastfeeding". Hon är kunnig i kvantitativa och kvalitativa forskningsmetoder. Hon har varit redaktör för tidigare utgåvor av Lärobok för barnmorskor och har bidragit till olika läroböcker.

 

Forskningsbeskrivning

I Eva Nissens forskning har fokus främst legat på amning och föräldra-barninteraktion, specifikt relaterade till vårdrutiner, (smärtlindring under förlossningen, kejsarsnitt) samt psykisk hälsa . Hon har varit PI av forskningsprogram om amningsrådgivning, föräldra-barninteraktion efter kejsarsnitt, tonårsgraviditet, sexlivet efter förlossningen och förlossningens latensfas. För närvarande är hon PI för ett forskningsprogram som avser att förbättra mammans och barnets hälsa genom en intervention med en mindfulnessbaserad föräldrautbildningskurs.
