Novel fluorescence-based methods in immunology Course for PhD Students, February 9-13th, 2015

This 1.5 weeks course will introduce state-of-the-art fluorescence-based techniques to investigate spatial and temporal dynamics in an immunological context. Super-resolution microscopy to measure localization of proteins down to single molecule level, and methods to study molecular dynamics will be in focus. Cell migration and other in vitro and in vivo techniques at the cellular level will also be introduced. The students will learn to compare these techniques and the advantages and limitations of each one of them.
