The aim of the day is to provide useful information in English about Karolinska Institutet and to give important insights into different aspects of life in Sweden.
Contents:
- Karolinska Institutet, a medical university, a historical overview and organisation style
- Information Channels - how do I keep updated with what's going on at KI?
- Practical Issues; Health promotion and sports facilities, national registration, insurance policies, social activities
- Intercultural communication - about Sweden and the Swedes, Non-verbal communication; how am I perceived and how would I like to be perceived, Cultural shock, can it be avoided?
No fees. Lunch included.
