Health Informatics Centre
The Health Informatics Centre (HIC) is a research centre which performs research in health informatics mainly in the areas of clinical decision making and integrated patient-centred information systems for cooperative care, where patients play an active role, with special focus on usability.
Our aim is to perform needs driven research and to enhance clinical practice and human health through personalized informatics, delivering new evidence-based knowledge and process support into patient care and prevention.
At KI, the centre is linked to the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) and the Department of Medicine, Solna.
