Nominations open for the Ethics Prize at Karolinska Institutet
Now is the time to nominate the person or group at Karolinska Institutet that you think should win the Ethics Prize 2012! The award is presented annually to the person or persons who have made a special effort to promote ethics at Karolinska Institutet.
The prize aims to raise ethical awareness and to highlight good practice among colleagues. The nominees can include large global projects, but also efforts of individual employees. The prize can for example be given to person(s) who have shown courage when facing an ethical dilemma, helped co-workers or fellow human beings or contributed to the increase of ethical awareness at KI.
The prize consists of an artwork and a diploma and will be awarded at a ceremony in autumn 2012. Candidates for the prize must be active at Karolinska Institutet and can be nominated by Karolinska Institutet´s teachers, students or administrative staff.
The nomination may be brief and shall be in writing and sent in by e-mail or regular mail. The nominator shall indicate their name, phone number and email address.
