Our goal is to develop and disseminate knowledge about suicide and mental illness, whilst driving, supporting and evaluating suicide prevention interventions. Mental Health First Aid - Instructors course
We have begun training the instructors of Mental Health First Aid! Completion of the week long training (in Swedish) enables you to be a certified instructor,which allows you to organize and perform mental health first aid courses to the public. As instructors, you will teach others how to recognize various forms of mental illness, how to respond and intervene in crises, acknowledge and encourage appropriate help seeking behaviours. Course dates are Week 36: 3-7 September for members of the SPIS project, Week 40: 1-5 October, Week 48: 26-30 November 2012.
