NASP is the Swedish state's expert on suicide prevention.
Our goal is to develop and disseminate knowledge about suicide and mental illness, whilst driving, supporting and evaluating suicide prevention interventions. On this website you will find information about suicide and mental illness,and also about national and international efforts and ongoing research projects conducted by, or in collaboration with, NASP.
Scientifically evaluated interventions in suicide prevention
This post-graduate course is part of the World Health Program at Karolinska Institutet and is given 7-11 May 2012 at NASP. Priority will be given to applicants who are doctoral students at KI or other Swedish universities as well as to doctoral students who belong to research groups affiliated to the Nordic Network on Mental Health and Evidence. The invited lecturers this year are Professor Keith Hawton, University of Oxford, Professor Mark Goldblatt, Harvard University and Professor Marie Åsberg, KI.
