CfA Allergy Research Day
The Centre for Allergy Research (CfA) invites you to the annual Allergy Research Day 27th March.
All PhD students, postdocs, researchers and staff working in the allergy and asthma research field are welcome to participate. Especially those who have received a CfA grant during the last two years (such as CfA months or a CfA travel grant) are encouraged to participate. Please see below for the programme.
We will offer a mixture of lectures, poster sessions and break-out discussion sessions. We will allocate a portion of the day to discuss new goals for our activity. CfA is entering a new phase as one of the previous major funders, the Vårdal Foundation, will withdraw its support after 2012. We are therefore planning to operate in new ways and we encourage a joint discussion where everyone can put forward suggestions.
We encourage all those who have a poster available on your own recent research to bring it along. This especially applies to PhD students and postdocs who have received CfA months or a CfA travel grant during the last two years, as this will be a way for us to get feedback on your findings. If you had a poster at a conference during the last 2 years you can bring that. There will be informal poster discussion sessions.
