For Abhinit Ambastha, the reputation of the university of his choice was important when looking for a master's programme. He hopes that his degree from Karolinska Institutet will help him to one day set up his own firm within the health informatics field either in his home country of India, or another developing country.
Before he started, he thought the Global Master's Programme in Health Informatics seemed well defined, well structured and met his field of interest, and his experiences have met his high expectations so far.
'I like the atmosphere at Karolinska Institutet and the attitude of the professors toward the programme. The course structure is very well defined and provides the students ample time to self study.'
He continues that encountering and getting used to the Swedish/European style of teaching has been one of his best memories so far.
'I think the best memory would definitely be the first group assignment we had! I came in touch with the European education style for the first time.'
