I priskommittén ingår professorer vid Rolf Lufts Forskningscenter för diabetes och endokrinologi/Diabetes Center, bland andra Per-Olof Berggren och Kerstin Brismar, båda professorer vid Institutionen för molekylär medicin och kirurgi vid Karolinska Institutet.
