Requirement for formal training in supervision
According to the update higher education ordinance (högskoleförordningen, 6kap, 32§), postgraduate students registered after July 1, 2007 must have at least one supervisor who has undergone formal training in supervision or possesses equivalent competence. Training in supervision for each and every supervisor must be documented in the individual study plan.
From July 1, 2008 the main supervisor need to have formal training in supervison or equivalent competence.
