A fluid or a tissue from a sample donor (the biobank law only includes humans).
Sample type or type of sample
These expressions are not recommended by national biobank Council since there are many interpretations of the word type. To be clear a list of alternatives can be included, e g blood, DNA, urine etc.
Sample Donor
The physical person who donates a sample.

Taking a sample from a sample donor and the method used for taking the sample.
