Fees
During the year, on the advice of our sponsors, we have decided to impose fees for the SCARAB-LIMS system and services.
From 1 January 2012, we will charge a fee for SCARAB-LIMS offered by the SCARAB Group, and other services such as further development of the system. The reason for this is that KI and SLL have decided to reduce the funding, that the SCARAB Group has previously received, by 50%.
The Purpose of the user fees is primarily to secure the future of the SCARAB Group, so that the system can be maintained and supported, and that new researchers will be able to start using it.
All new customers will pay an initial fee for the system and its functionality. An annual cost for support and upgrades, as well as fees for further development or new licenses, will be added for each customer.
