Neonatology

Neonatology is the branch of paediatric medicine concerned with the diseases and care of newborn infants.

The academic neonatal research unit is located in Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital. About 40 people are involved in research, some part-time beside clinical work. About 10 graduate students are working on their MD/PhD theses. There are now visiting fellows and students from France, Russia, Italy, Japan, China, Australia and USA.
