Summer courses abroad

Karolinska Institutet students can apply to a number of summer courses, arranged by partner universities or other organisations with a connection to our university. The courses are mainly within the medicine and health care fields, but also other areas such as languages, social sciences and technology.

'Student - Get inspired by a professor'

Don´t miss the last seminar 23 May! Jan-Ingmar Flock, professor of Molecular Pathlogy, talks about 'Vaccination strategies against streptococcal and staphylococcal infections'. You can view all the past lectures on YouTube.

Stay safe during your clinical practice - get vaccinated!

Students at Karolinska Institutet on clinical practice are offered free vaccinations at the Student Health Centre. When working with patients you may be at risk of contracting diseases such as Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B - so stay safe and get vaccinated!

New exhibition

There is a lot more to the University Library at KI than just printed paper. We have a range of 3D animations and films created for KI to enjoy, so come along and take a stroll of a different kind through the human anatomy. The exhibition is open from 10 April to 30 September 2013 at the University Library, KI Campus Huddinge. Welcome!

Academic writing support

All bachelor's and master's students at Karolinska Institutet can make use of the new Academic Writing Support at the University Library, free of charge. The writing support staff can help you develop your academic writing skills, focusing on aspects such as structure, grammar, clarity and style.

Need help with a computer programme? The University Library is trialling Lynda.com, an online service which contains videos and over 1500 video-based courses in 3D animation, sound, design, photography, video, web and interactive design. As a KI student, you can access all courses and downloadable practice files.
