Jan Huggare's research activities have primarily been focused on studying the significance of functional factors, such as head posture and intracranial pressure variations, for the anatomy of the cervical vertebral column, the skull, the base of the skull, and the jaw.
He has also carried out studies on the need for treatment and the principles of selection in orthodontic care.
