Brief bio

Mr. Moshe Zilversmit has been developing medical devices for over 7 years. In 2008, he was one of the founding members of Chest Innovations, where he led the company in the development of thoracic surgical devices for the treatment of lung cancer and emphysema. Prior to joining Chest Innovations, he held R&D positions at academic and early stage medical device companies where he was responsible for the development of innovative medical technologies in the urology (Urethral Strictures Brachytherapy System), anesthesia (MRI compatible laryngoscope), orthopedic (bioabsorbable scaffold with telemetry), gynecology (Laparoscopic probe for the early detection of ovarian cancer), and cardiovascular (Radio frequency PFO closure device and stent delivery system) space. Upon returning from a trip to Tanzania along with his passion to bring healthcare to those residing at the bottom of the pyramid, Moshe cofounded Evolving Technologies, which develops medical devices to meet the needs of physicians practicing in emerging markets. Moshe earned a B.S in biosystems engineering from the University of Arizona in 2006.
