Basics of Scientific Communication
Does your writing convey what you really want to say?
In this workshop, Yale's scientific writer and editor, and author of Scientific Writing and Communication - Papers, Proposals, and Presentations, Angelika Hofmann, will present basic principles of good scientific style and composition of which every scientist, researcher, and clinician should be aware. Participants learn about good technical style, composition, impact, and format of scientific articles. Special attention is paid to authors whose native language is not English.
The target group is newly registered PhD students.
