Bioentrepreneurship and innovation

Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) is an academic unit at Karolinska Institutet (KI) with the mission to inspire, educate and facilitate contacts and interactions for undergraduates and PhD candidates, researchers and clinicians within the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.

UBE develop and provide courses, seminar series and master thesis projects among other activities. UBE is also the KI node within Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) and the first proactive link of KI Innovation, a support system för commercialisation and technology transfer.

Design a Commemorative Ritual for Death

In many settings the death of a person has been commemorated by the lighting of a candle. However in many health care settings this ritual is increasingly restricted for safety reasons. This competition invites students of Karolinska Institutet and Konstfack to design an appropriate ritual to commemorate the occasion of death in a health care setting.
