Postnatal psychosis more common in older first-time mothers

Women who give birth for the first time after the age of 35 run a greater risk than younger first-time mothers of suffering a psychosis in the months after delivery.

Midlife Coffee Drinking and the Risk of Late-Life Dementia

Midlife coffee and tea drinking can decrease the risk of dementia/Alzheimer's disease (AD) later in life. This conclusion is made in the study "Cardiovascular Risk Factors, Aging and Dementia (CAIDE)".

Scientists produce illusion of body-swapping

Cognitive neuroscientists have succeeded in making subjects perceive the bodies of mannequins and other people as their own. In one of the experiments, subjects swapped bodies with other people and shook hands with themselves without illusion being broken.
